Questions & Answers for the Allergen Awareness Online Training and Certification NOO #: 164125
Q. I just have a quick question regarding the bid process to be a vendor for the Allergen Awareness Online Training and Certification issuance. The Massachusetts Restaurant Association has been an approved vendor for the past 5 years. Our agreement has an option to renew for an additional 5 years. My question, is renewal of our existing agreement an option or must we re-submit a bid to be an approved vendor?
A. DPH is not exercising the option of renewing existing contracts, so they must re-submit a bid to be an approved vendor.
