About this file
The document is a NonSegregated Facilities Certification for the Kenton County Airport Board (KCAB) at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, specifically related to the 2025 Fall Protection Systems Installation project. The project involves a competitive bidding process with a pre-bid meeting and site visit scheduled for Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 10:00 am, located at CVG Centre, Admin. Offices in Erlanger, Kentucky. Potential bidders must submit questions by 11:59 pm on Monday, August 11, 2025, with answers to be posted by Thursday, August 14, 2025. Sealed bids are due by Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with no bids accepted after that time unless an addendum is issued.
The certification document emphasizes non-discrimination requirements, specifically focusing on preventing segregated facilities in employment practices. Contractors must certify they do not maintain segregated facilities based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin, and agree to obtain identical certifications from subcontractors for contracts exceeding $10,000. The document is tied to federal equal opportunity regulations, requiring contractors to provide notice and maintain compliance with Equal Opportunity Clause provisions for federally assisted construction contracts.

PROJECT NAME
NONSEGREGATED FACILITIES CERTIFICATION
The Bidder certifies that it does not maintain or provide for its employees any segregated facilities at any of its establishments and that it does not permit its employees to perform their services at any location, under its control, where segregated facilities are maintained. The Bidder certifies further that it will not maintain or provide for its employees any segregated facilities at any of its establishments, and that it will not permit its employees to perform their services at any location, under its control, where segregated facilities are maintained. The Bidder agrees that a breach of this certification is a violation of the Equal Opportunity Clause in any resultant Contract. The Bidder agrees that (except where it has obtained identical Certifications from proposed subcontractors for specific time periods) it will obtain identical Certifications from proposed subcontractors prior to the award of subcontracts exceeding $10,000 which are not exempt from the provisions of the Equal Opportunity Clause, and that it will retain such Certifications in its files.
Per 41 CFR 60-1.8, Contractors receiving federally-assisted construction contract awards, and Contractors receiving subcontract awards, exceeding $10,000 which are not exempt from the provisions of the Equal Opportunity Clause will be required to provide for the forwarding of the below notice to prospective contractors for supplies and construction contracts where the subcontracts exceed $10,000 and are not exempt from the provisions of the Equal Opportunity Clause.
CERTIFICATION TO BE SUBMITTED BY FEDERALLY ASSISTED CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS AND THEIR SUBCONTRACTORS (APPLICABLE TO FEDERALLY ASSISTED CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS AND RELATED SUBCONTRACTS EXCEEDING $10,000 WHICH ARE NOT EXEMPT FROM THE EQUAL OPPORTUNITY CLAUSE).
