About this file
This is a memorandum from the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Hanscom Air Force Base providing approved equipment lists for Configuration Management Database (CMD) systems in non-nuclear applications.
The document establishes two equipment lists: Attachment 1 identifies equipment approved for new procurements, installations, and upgrades for Protection Level (PL) 1 through PL-4 applications; Attachment 2 identifies previously-approved equipment still authorized for use and sustainment in existing installations but not approved for new procurements or installations. The approved equipment encompasses Command, Control and Display Equipment (CCDE) including integrated intrusion detection (IDS) and access control (ACS) systems from vendors such as Prometheus Security Group (PSG), LenelS2, and Honeywell Vindicator; Video Management Systems (VMS) from Milestone and PSG; cameras and imagers including assessment cameras, pan-tilt-zoom cameras, and camera environmental enclosures from manufacturers including Axis, Bosch, Hanwha, Pelco, and Vicon; interior and exterior intrusion detection sensors from multiple vendors including BEA, Bosch, Fiber Sensys, Magnasphere, Protech, and Southwest Microwave; and additional PL-3 and PL-4 specific items including thermal imaging systems. All equipment was verified to meet applicable Trade Agreements Act (TAA), Buy American Act (BAA), and National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) requirements at the time of approval. Installation agents must verify place of origin of all components prior to installation, as manufacturers may change production locations over time. Equipment for PL-1 nuclear applications is maintained in a separate letter. The point of contact for additional inquiries is Lt. Morgan Huang at morgan.huang.1@us.af.mil.

MEMORANDUM FOR DISTRIBUTION
FROM: AFLCMC/HBU
3 Eglin St, Bldg. 1612 Hanscom AFB MA 01731
SUBJECT: Non-Nuclear Configuration Management Database (CMD) Equipment Approval
1. Attached are the current CMD equipment lists approved for use when employed in the tested PL-1 (non nuclear) through PL-4 applications and configurations. Information on the tested configuration can be obtained from AFLCMC/HBU upon request.
2. Attachment 1 identifies equipment approved for new procurements and installs, or for upgrading existing equipment to the latest configuration. Attachment 2 identifies previously-approved equipment that is still approved for use and sustainment in existing installs; however, the equipment in Attachment 2 is not approved for new procurements or new installs, even if the item is still available from the Original Equipment Manufacturer. It is recommended systems get updated to the most current software and firmware versions identified in Attachment 1 as soon as practical, subject to available funding.
Yellow highlight indicates correction, change, and/or addition.
3. All equipment was determined to meet all applicable TAA/BAA/NDAA requirements at the time of approval. Manufacturers could change place of origin over time. Installation agents should verify place of origin of all components prior to installation.
4. A listing of equipment approved for use in PL-1 Nuclear applications is available in a separate letter maintained by the POC listed below.
5. For additional inquiries, the POC for this effort is Lt. Morgan Huang, AFLCMC/HBUA, morgan.huang.1@us.af.mil.
