About this file
This document is a Certificate of Non-Collusion, a standard legal form used in state and local government contract opportunities to ensure fair and ethical bidding practices. The form requires the bidder to certify under penalties of perjury that their bid or proposal has been submitted in good faith and without collusion or fraud with any other person or entity. The certification broadly defines "person" to include natural persons, businesses, partnerships, corporations, unions, committees, clubs, or any other organizational group.
The form provides blank lines for the signature of the individual submitting the bid or proposal and the name of their business. By signing, the bidder affirms they have not engaged in any collaborative or fraudulent activities that would compromise the integrity of the competitive bidding process. While the document itself does not contain specific details about the contract opportunity, it represents a critical legal commitment to maintaining transparency and fairness in the procurement process.
