Glenn Contract Work Control System

(GCWCS)

Heidi Shaw, GEARS Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR)

Glenn Contract Work Control System (GCWCS)

• The Government will provide an automated web-based WCS for managing and tracking all work requirements issued under the GEARS contract.

• The WCS is an Oracle database web application.

• There is no interface to a Contractor’s business system.

• Name of Application:

Glenn Contract Work Control System (GCWCS)

• All initial GEARS contract work requirements will be loaded into the WCS at the beginning of Contract Phase-in by the Government.

GCWCS 2

Declarations – The WCS is considered:

• Official record of work requirements requested for the

GEARS contract.

• Contractor’s response is the official Contractor’s proposal to work requirements.

• The Technical Monitor’s (TM) review and approval is the official Government technical review.

• Once the order action is fully approved, the work requirement and the Contractor’s response is the approved document to which the Contractor will perform the work requested.
