About this file
The document is a National Cemetery Administration Safety Checklist for Contractors, designed to ensure comprehensive safety compliance for contractors working at national cemeteries. The checklist requires contractors to submit detailed safety documentation, including a Safety and Health Policy, Accident Prevention Plan, Responsibilities and Lines of Authorities, Medical Support Plan, Training Program, Safety and Health Inspection Procedures, and Site-Specific Safety Plans.
Key requirements include providing a company safety policy, accident reporting procedures, emergency response plans, medical support details, employee training documentation, safety inspection protocols, and specific site safety plans covering areas such as respiratory protection, hazard communication, heat/cold stress monitoring, fall protection, confined space entry, and other OSHA-regulated safety considerations. Contractors must submit various documents at different stages: some with the initial quote/proposal, some within 30 days post-award, and others within 90 days post-award. The checklist is specifically tied to the Alexandria National Cemetery project (Solicitation No. 36C78625B0036) for rostrum and historic wall repairs and renovation, and emphasizes strict adherence to OSHA regulations and comprehensive safety management.
