About this file
This pre-solicitation notice and related solicitation document outline requirements for an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract for fire protection projects. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast seeks to award approximately five design-build and design-bid-build IDIQ contracts for fire protection construction and repair services, including design. Services include fire suppression, water supply, foam, gaseous agent, alarm, and life safety systems. The total value of all contracts is $99 million over five years. Task orders will typically range from $150,000 to $9 million. Offerors must submit experience on a minimum of three and maximum of five relevant projects. The two-phase solicitation process will select proposals providing the best value, with the highest rated offeror receiving the initial task order. The pre-solicitation notice states that the solicitation will be available on FedBizOpps 15 days after posting. Phase one proposals will be due no less than 30 days after solicitation release.
