About this file
This is an Amendment (0001) to Solicitation N6852026Q1069 issued by the Fleet Readiness Center at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland on October 7, 2026. The amendment extends the response due date for quotes from October 13, 2026 to October 20, 2026.
The solicitation requires semi-annual on-site calibration and repair services for a Hazardous Gas Detection System (part number SC04943, serial number ERAB-0061) located in Building 4225. Services shall be performed during April and October between 6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The contractor must provide all labor and travel expenses. The equipment requiring calibration includes 19 individual gas sensors, 4 QuadGard control panels, and 1 HF retransmission loop, all manufactured by Drager. Contractor personnel must have at least two years of documented experience servicing gas-detection systems and must use certified calibration gases with traceability to NIST standards. HF gas sensors must be replaced annually. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment and calibration gases but may not leave gases at the government facility; Material Safety Data Sheets must be supplied for each gas used. Optional line items (0002, 0004, 0006) require hourly rates for optional repairs with parts to be negotiated on an as-needed basis. Award evaluation factors in relative order of importance are: Price, Technical, and Experience. The amendment also corrects the referenced instruction document title from FRCEASTINST 5000.1 to FRCEASTINST 5000.1C and clarifies that contractor signature is not required on the amendment.

The contractor shall provide documentation demonstrating the company's relevant experience and the qualifications and experience of each employee assigned to perform the work. The Government may request this documentation before or during contract performance. All calibration gases used to calibrate or test the gas-detection equipment shall be certified gas mixtures with current documentation demonstrating traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The certification shall identify the gas components, concentration, balance gas, lot or cylinder number, certification date, expiration date, and stated accuracy. Calibration gases shall have a certified accuracy of 10% absolute, or better, for the applicable constituent and concentration. The contractor shall maintain and provide the applicable certificates of analysis or traceability upon request.
