INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT

STATEMENT OF WORK

Statement of Work (SOW) for Mobile Facilities (MF), P/N 1339AS500-1, 1339AS501-1, 1339AS700-1, 1339AS900-1, 1339AS1000-1, 1339AS1101-1

1.0 PURPOSE: This SOW establishes the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements for the MF (Various).

2.0 APPLICATION: This document applies to the MF and all supporting Logistics elements.

2.1 APPLICATION GUIDANCE: This document contains guidance regarding the acquisition phase for which development, implementation and execution of ILS program tasks are developed.

3.0 REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed herein apply to all logistics deliverables to be provided under the contract.

3.1 ILS DELIVERABLES: The following logistics data will be provided by the contractor in response to the requirements of the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Form DD 1423-1 of solicitation.

3.2 TECHNICAL MANUAL CHANGES: The contractor shall provide marked up change pages to the existing Technical Manual NAVAIR 19-25-177 as required, based upon approved Engineering Change Proposals (ECP’s), Design Control Change Notices (DCN’s), and any text changes deemed necessary to keep the manuals current.

3.3 STYLE AND FORMAT: This manual will support the equipment throughout the life of the MF. Any changes to the manual will be an update in accordance with specifications in the current version of NAVAIR 19-25-177. The Technical Manual should be written to the requirements of MIL-STD-3001-1 for style and format. An acceptable manual should contain but not be limited to the following; Front Matter, Introduction, Preparation for use and Installation Instructions, Principles of Operation, Operating Instructions, Maintenance and Servicing Instructions, Preparation for Storage (Preservation/De-Preservation) and Shipment, Parts List, and Operational Maintenance Illustrations.

3.4 DESIGN CHANGE NOTICES: Each production unit shall be identical to the First Article Test (FAT) units. The government must be notified of and approve and configuration change at least 30 days before delivery of changed units. Configuration changes are defined as additions, deletions, supersedures, or modification of the unit or any part of the unit during the performance of the contract. This document shall contain the following information: Identification of the change, reason for the change, Supplementary Provisioning Technical Documentation (SPTD) for the new parts, effects on the interim support material list (ISL) if any, effectivity and interchangeability with the earlier configuration. Approval/Disapproval will be given within 14 days after receipt of the DCN, the contractor shall process all DCN’s as required based upon approved ECP’s and other parts changed due to non availability of required part identified in drawing package 1339AS463, to document the configuration changes. All DCN’s must have accompanying SPTD to identify new parts.

3.5 MAINTENANCE PLANNING/PROVISIONING DOCUMENTATION: Maintenance Philosophy for the MF is as follows: The MF is used at the Intermediate Maintenance Level of Navy and Marine Corps activities. All repairs will be performed at Depot Level.
