About this file

This document provides details on a forthcoming solicitation for Crash and Salvage Cranes. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to procure the Carrier Crash and Salvage Crane and Amphibious Crash and Salvage Crane under solicitation number N68335-14-R-0276. The solicitation seeks proposals for Engineering Development Models of each crane type, with the potential for up to 14 production units of each over three years. The cranes will replace existing models and be used to lift and move disabled aircraft on aircraft carriers and amphibious assault ships. Proposers must be registered in SAM and proposals will be evaluated on technical, experience, past performance, and price factors. The solicitation posting has been amended to clarify that the first submission date for CDRL L005 is 30 days after PDR rather than 90 days after contract award. The statement of work has also been revised accordingly.
