- For the Mohawk Carpet tile, color 988 Undertone. What is the style? There are multiple Mohawk carpet tile styles with the color 988 Undertone.
ANSWER: Manufacturers and materials specified are intended to convey the desired final appearance and are not intended to limit the selection of equal color from other manufacturers. The carpet style was not specified for the same purpose. Selected Contractor will need to submit carpet products, with samples, that meet the requirements specified in the contract documents. Reference project specification section 09.68.00 for additional information.
- Division 1, Section 3.3.6 directs the Contractor to provide their own restroom facilities. Please confirm that government restrooms are NOT available for contractor use.
ANSWER: The Contractor will need to provide their own restroom facilities as specified in the Contract Documents.
- Will the Contractor be able to cordon off and control access within confines of the construction work area?
ANSWER: The Contractor will not be allowed to cordon off or control access within the confines of the entire construction work area. This contract work will be performed during normal business hours in an occupied building, where access to adjacent areas will require access through portions of the Construction work area. Reference contract drawing sheet G-101 General Notes for more information.
- Please confirm that the government will move all government property within the construction work area before operations begin. Is the contractor required to provide temporary storage for those materials (cubicles, desks, computers, etc.)?
ANSWER: The Government will move and store all Government Property currently located within the construction work area, prior to the start of construction. The Contractor is not responsible for moving or temporarily storing any Government Property within the construction area.
