The following are highly desired attributes of a Base Operations Manager.
Education and General Professional Experience:
Bachelor's level degree in any engineering or managerial discipline with ten (10) years professional management experience.
A Master’s degree in the above discipline may be substituted for three (3) years of professional experience.
Specialized Experience:
A total of five (5) years of cumulative specialized experience in at least four (4) of the following areas
(qualifying experience consists of one (1) year or more in any single area):
a. Management of facilities maintenance, repair, and construction projects
b. Transportation department management.
c. Electrical power generation and distribution.
d. Potable water treatment and distribution,
e. Fuels storage and distribution
f. Acquisition, delivery, warehousing, and control/disposition of Government-furnished property
g. Hotel management.
h. Environmental regulations and preparation of related impact studies.
The professional and specialized experience above may have been acquired simultaneously.

The following are highly desired attributes of a Test Operations Manager.
Education and General Professional Experience
Bachelor's level degree in any science, engineering or managerial discipline with ten (10) years professional management experience.
A Master’s degree in the above discipline may be substituted for three (3) years of professional experience.
Specialized Experience:
A total of five (5) years of experience in operations and maintenance of test ranges and cumulative specialized experience in at least four (4) of the following areas (qualifying experience consists of one (1) year or more in any single area):
a. In-water acoustic tracking systems
b. In-air tracking systems
c. Communications systems
d. Computer Data, Display, and Networking systems
e. Electromagnetic Radiation systems
f. Sensor /measurement systems.
g. DoD or U.S. Coast Guard practices/protocol
h. Underwater sound
i. Oceanographic measurement and environmental characterization

The following are highly desired attributes of an AUTEC Project Manager.
Bachelor's level degree in any technical or managerial discipline with fifteen (15) years professional experience in program/project management.
A Masters Degree in the above disciplines may be substituted for three (3) years of professional experience.
Specialized Experience:
A total of ten (10) years of cumulative specialized experience in at least three (3) of the following areas (qualifying experience consists of one (1) year or more in any single area):
a. Management, direction or administration of large, multi-faceted technical organizations.
b. Management of a field site or other operation apart from corporate offices.
c. DoD or U.S. Coast Guard procedures and protocol and Government contracting rules and regulations.
d. Coordinating activities of an organization of comparable complexity to that of AUTEC.
e. Communicating and interacting professionally with a broad scope of Government personnel, both civilian and military.
