SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE
The following have been added by full text:
Amendment 0002 is hereby issued to provide Government response to submitted questions. The solicitation response date remains unchanged, 2 May 2024 12pm EST.
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
Questions/Answers:
Q1. At the site visit, there was mention of installing an emergency shut off button, with that do they want it to shut off the main power to the unit and if so, how far is the breaker panel from the location of said shut off switch?
A1. EPO switch should be relayed directly to the unit for shutoff. It cannot be wired directly to the beakers.
Q2. For securing roof rails, do they just want weight blocks to secure the rails or secured to the roof and flashed in by a roofer?
A2. Weighted blocks is acceptable. Roof pad is required underneath pad. The Government does not want the securing roof rails bolted down to the roof.
Q3. For BACnet controller I know the only want the ability to see the unit status but there is graphics in the scoop for the BAS and didn’t know if that is for us or the current controls company to do that?
A3. Graphics on our DDC computers are to be supplied by contractor. The contractor needs to provide all programming to display unit status on our DDC computers (including programming graphics).
Q4. We are unable to see where the duct enters the building from inside, Are there any prints on this ductwork because with a new unit the dimensions and orientation will be different, and modifications will most likely be needed A4. During the site walkdown, we showed where the duct enters the building (in the room that was under construction). There are no prints available at this time.
Q5. The unit in the Pictures in “SOW Attachment (2) Photographs - Existing HVAC” word document indicates the unit to be replaced is AC-7, it this correct?
A5. Naming in field may be left over. This unit is currently not named AC-7, even though its written on the side of it.
Q6. If AC-7 is being replaced the original prints for AC-7 show room 1402, 1403, 1018, Where is 800 in relation to theses room?
A6. The location of room 800 is roughly within 75 feet and was identified during the site visit.
