N6339424R0005 Vendor Questions with Answers

Question 1: Is there an incumbent for this solicitation? Would it also be possible to to get the contract number as well as the contract price?

Answer 1: The incumbent is CORVID Technologies, under contract N00178-19-D-5001, with a total value of $223,277,038.00.

Question 2: It appears only one of each CLIN/sub-CLIN can be delivered in execution per year. How will the Government determine the ceiling to allow for multiple vehicles to be delivered?

Answer 2: The ceiling will be determined by the proposed/negotiated price for each CLIN/sub-CLIN per execution year. If multiple vehicles are required, additional CLIN/sub-CLIN's will be executed.

Question 3: Is it the intent that each sub-CLIN for each vehicle type is a different configuration and pricing should be based on each specific configuration?

Answer 3: Yes, that is the intent.

Question 4: What is the intent of the top level CLIN for each vehicle type? Is it a summary of the sub-

CLINs, an average of the sub-CLINs, or some other estimate?

Answer 4: The top level CLIN identifies the type of vehicle thus dictating the materials required for the associated SLINs.

Answer 6: Attachment J-4 shows total hours per category, including projected overtime. Section L.4.4.1 and the CPFF CLIN tabs on Attachment JS-1 show that information with the overtime broken out. We can pay overtime, if it’s approved in advance. We do not desire or require overtime. Lastly, the Attachment

JS-1 Summary Total CPFF lists all of the labor categories provided elsewhere. Attachments J-4, JS-1 and

JS-5 will be updated in Amendment 1.

Question 7: The CLINs listed in the Grand Total tab do not tie to the CLINs in the other tabs or the RFP document. Will the Government please provide clarity on which CLINs and/or SLINs should be listed in this tab?
