About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation N6264926QB072, issued by the Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka on July 31, 2026, with an effective date of July 31, 2026. The amendment is not extended, meaning the receipt deadline for offers remains unchanged. The solicitation is for an Ion Chromatograph (IC) system procurement intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan under DFARS 252.225-7042. Prime contractors outside of Japan must submit documentation demonstrating compliance with this requirement as part of their offer. The amendment provides answers to 11 questions posed regarding the procurement, clarifying technical specifications and contractual requirements.
Key clarifications include: delivery date is To Be Determined (TBD) with 30 September 2026 being administrative information only; equipment dimensions apply only to the main unit, not the autosampler; conductivity detector cell volume is a minimum of 1 microliter; solid-state drives (SSD) are acceptable as an alternative to hard-disk drives, and external USB DVD drives are acceptable; off-site training is removed, with on-site training to be conducted during IC-system installation; warranty period is one year from installation with a seven-business-day minimum response time for defects, with defective parts replaced at no charge during the warranty period; Japanese Consumption Tax should be excluded; and Item Unique Identification marking and reporting does not apply to this local procurement. The amendment modifies the Addendum to 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and references Attachment 1 - Specification Ion Chromatograph System Procurement Revision-1.
