RFI #54:

Section of the Request for Proposal: 1502000 J Facility Investment Paragraph: Fire Supp Riser Sprinklers Tab

Government states the following : « The contractor shall fill in the missing information (yellow-filled cells) and submit a digital copy of an updated inventory to the Government after completion of their initial inspection; file to be in Microsoft Excel format. «

The contractor need all the information to be able to staff and price as 57% of the lines are missing information which is 113 of the 197 shown and of that 113 over 50 of them have very critical information missing that makes it extremely hard to estimate.

Will the Government provide an updated exhibit or provide a plug number of folks for everyone to staff and price as currently the incumbent has an extreme unfair advantage on this area?

RESPONSE: See revised Attachment “3J. 1502000 J Facility Investment - 29 Palms BOS (2 OF 2) (25AUG2021)” regarding the updated inventory in Amendment 04 dated August 26, 2021 for details.

Are the certification, training and licensing requirements called out in PWS 2.2.1 currently required by the existing contracts listed in Solicitation, Section B, paragraph B12?

RESPONSE: Existing contracts each have a version of 1502000 C Facility Investment Spec Item 2.2.1 with similar certification, training, and licensing requirements, but they do not match exactly to those listed in this RFP.
