Amendment 0001

The Amendment 0001 added site-visit information to the solicitation and extended the due date for the quote to 13 November 2018 at 2:00 PM PST. The site-visit is planned for 06 November 2018 at 10:00

AM PST at NB Pt. Loma. See revised Combined Synopsis-Solicitation for more information.

The following are the answers to the Request for Information (RFIs) received:

Q1) Is this a new requirement or is there an incumbent vendor? If available, can you please send along the incumbent contract number?

A1) Yes, this is a new requirement.

Q2) Can you please send any site information for review?

A2) All necessary site information are provided in the solicitation and PWS. A site-visit is scheduled for

06 November 2018 at NB Pt Loma. Additional comments are provided in the revised PV System

Inventory list for clarification.

Q3) The PDF document that was partially titled “…5012_Combine_Synopsis_Solicitation…” has a title on page 1 that states “Small Business Set Aside” but paragraph 2 also mentions “this is a Full and Open procurement for all business concerns”. Please advise of the official acquisition type for this RFQ?

A3) This is a Full and Open competition. No set-aside for this requirement.

Q4) Page 3 of the same synopsis document lists three requirements for technical acceptability in evaluation factor (ii). Can a subcontractor hold the required licenses and certifications as described or can they only be held by a prime contractor?

A4) Yes. The subcontractor can hold the licensees and certifications as described. If offerors plan on using subcontractors, please let us know which subcontractors are intended to be use for the performance of the contract and their licensees and certifications.

Q5) Is it possible to schedule an inspection of the current solar array to determine what, if any, repairs will be needed?

Q5) Yes. See revised Combine Synopsis-Solicitation for details on the site-visit.
