134) cranes are planned for concurrent installations. The specific order of crane installations will be provided as the facility construction nears completion. The contractor shall provide an onsite work schedule with durations and desired start/stop dates. The Contracting Officer will coordinate with the building manager and determine a final mobilization date and the sequencing of crane installations. The Contractor will provide a minimum of thirty days notice prior to a desired mobilizing date at Naval Base Coronado, CA.

The crane contractor should plan to mobilize at Naval Base Coronado no sooner than early December 2014. The receiving facility is currently under construction and the facility construction schedule may be impacted prior to crane delivery. Therefore the Government reserves the right to delay on-site mobilization start date by up to sixty days.

1.9 CONTRACTOR REQUESTED ENGINEERING CHANGES

All contractor requested engineering changes must be submitted to the Navy Crane Center on the “Contractor Change Request Form” (NCC Form 07-001). The “Cost Worksheet” (NCC Form 07-001A) shall be attached to any engineering changes. The worksheet shall compare the cost of equipment as specified in the contract with the cost of the proposed change. CCRFs shall be disapproved if submitted without Cost Worksheet. The forms are available at https://portal.navfac.navy.mil/ncc under the “downloads” page.
