The requirements listed in section 3 of the PRF are all new requirements or improvements to existing capabilities, but all listed performance requirements are for capabilities or features that do not exist on the current system. The two exceptions would be the following: 1) In PRF 3.1.1.3, the Emergency Procedures of the CH-53E. There are 33 listed

EPs, and the first 25 of them are currently able to be trained on the MCAT system, but there is some room for improvement based on fleet user feedback, so the Government is requesting that these be looked at to see where improvements can be made to their execution in support of enhanced training for the enlisted aircrew end-users. 2) In PRF 3.1.1.4, the Interoperability section, the MCAT is capable of networking with other trainers, but the Government is requesting that the items listed in the PRF be examined on the MCAT side of the connection to ensure the systems are receiving data from the Flight Training Device (FTD) as expected and also accurately displaying said data to the trainees in the MCAT.
