1CUICUI RequirementReferenced RFP Section states: "...All proposals must be CONTROLLED UNCLASSIFIED
INFORMATION (CUI)." Our company is currently in compliance with the requirements of DOD INSTRUCTION 5200.48 for all contractually produced data that is CUI. Our review of the data we intend to provide in the CFET proposal is and will be marked KBR confidential and proprietary. It does not seem to warrant the additional administrative tasks of marking and handling proposal volumes and all associated documents as CUI, as it is KBR developed information and not contractually developed data. Will the USG please identify what items of concern it has regarding proposal information relative to CUI and what specific sections of the RFP should be treated as CUI?RFP Section L. Part A. 3. page 38None of the solicitation contents are CUI. The statement that “[a]ll proposals must be CONTROLLED UNCLASSIFIED INFORMATION (CUI)" was meant to convey that the proposals must not include classified information. Since this is already stated at Section L, Part A, Paragraph 5.0, the Government struck the above statement from Section L, Part A, Paragraph 3.0, in the most recent RFP Amendment N6134022R0067-0003 dated 10-Jan-2023. The Government treats proposals as CUI, but offerors are not required to mark proposals as CUI.
