General Description: The Navy TC-12B is a military version of the Beechcraft BE200 KingAir. It is an all–metal, low-wing, twin turbo prop, T-tail monoplane with an axial flow engine mounted on each wing. Fully pressurized, FAA certified aircraft capable of carrying up to 10 people (crew included) and/or cargo up to the maximum airframe weight of 13,500 lbs. (restricted).

Cockpit Instrumentation: The cockpit should be designed to closely represent the actual setup. Depictions can be found in the CNATRA PRELIMINARY NATOPS MANUAL TC-12B Change 2 figs. 2-3, 2-4, 2-6, 2-8, 2-11 and 2-13 are excellent depictions and should be used as references.

Engines: PT6A-41 have a three-stage axial, single stage centrifugal compressor driven by a single-stage reaction turbine . The power turbine, a two-stage reaction turbine counter rotating with the compressor turbine drives the output shaft.

Engine instruments: ITT, Torque and Propeller Tachometers, Fuel Flow, Oil pressure/Oil Temperature indicators are vital and should be matched closely to ref (1).

Electrical system: 28 VDC. 115 / 26 VAC. Starter/Generators: (2) 250amp 27.5 - 29 VDC. Inverters: (2) 110 - 120 VAC 390-410 Hz. 11 buses (B), 12 (F). Battery is 24V / 42 Amps. Ground Power receptacle right wing requires 30 VDC Max, 300 amps cont.
