Industry Questions and Government Response
Continuation Sheet 1/25/2022
22. Will the Wet Pot Chamber ever be pressurized without water? Ie; will any of our underwater equipment be in a pressurized without being submerged in water?
Gov Response: The only time the Wet Pot is pressurized without water is for off-gas testing (e.g. after painting the Wet Pot every 5 years or various large equipment). The off-gas testing doesn’t go below 200 fsw, ~ 90 psi.
0. Follow up question if the answer is yes: Is NEDU willing to remove our underwater equipment during this situation?
Gov Response: If the system is NOT capable of being pressurized without water, NEDU would be willing to remove equipment if necessary.
23. Will the Dry Chambers ever be a pure oxygen environment?
Gov Response: No, maximum theoretical O2 content will never exceed 23%.
24. Have we extended the due date past February 4th?
Gov Response: Due to requests, the due date will be extended to 14 Feb 2022.
