About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal solicitation N4523A26Q5705 regarding the rental of a 100-kilowatt Diesel Generator (DG) for the Naval Base Kitsap Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) in Bremerton, Washington. This represents a replacement contract to the previous contract N4523A22D1304.

The solicitation specifies that the expected runtime for the rented generator is less than 20 hours in a calendar year, with government personnel responsible for fuel refill. Pricing must be submitted on a monthly rental basis in accordance with Section 7 of the Combined Synopsis Solicitation document, with the unit of measure designated as "Months." The generator's output connections must accommodate stranded 4 AWG cables, though PSNS will provide the power cables themselves. Bidders should refer to Section 1.7.18 of the Performance Work Statement for delivery specifications and Section 1.2 for runtime expectations. This document serves as clarification for prospective vendors preparing their proposals and does not contain pricing information, response deadlines, or award details.
