About this file
This is a Questions & Answers document for solicitation N4215825RS002 for Roving Fire Watch services at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY). The document clarifies several key requirements including: confidential (yellow badge) security clearance is required for all personnel including the Program Manager; no CAC cards are required; NNSY will provide 15 radios with 30 additional batteries; and this is a new requirement with no incumbent.
The Q&A provides additional details about training requirements (plan due upon award), parking (free satellite parking available outside perimeter), key personnel roles (Program Manager, Project Manager and Project Supervisors in management capacity only), and debris removal responsibilities (basic housekeeping of muster areas). Important clarifications include that interim security clearances are acceptable until final clearance is granted, standard resume formats are acceptable, and the contractor can determine their own labor mix to meet requirements. The document also confirms this is an SCA wage determination contract, though specific labor codes for management positions are left to vendor discretion.
