About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to solicitation N4215824QN001 from the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command for rental space for a 2024 career fair. The solicitation requires a venue with at least 12,000 square feet that can accommodate 1,000 people for an event in Outer Banks, North Carolina on May 25, 2024. However, no venues in Outer Banks meet the square footage requirement. As such, the response indicates Elizabeth City, North Carolina as an alternative location, noting the contracting agency can attempt to work with a 10,000 square foot venue. For another event in Chesapeake, Virginia in January 20, 2024, the response provides flexibility on the date within January or alternative venues in Virginia Beach or Portsmouth if the specified date is unavailable.

Questions in Response to Solicitation N4215824QN001 Rental Space for 2024
Career Fair
1. Reached out to the event manager of Chesapeake Conference Center for the career fair in
January 20, 2024.
That date is not available, it is already booked with a banquet. Do we proceed with another
Saturday date in January, are we flexible with the dates? or should I see if Virginia Beach
Conference Center or Renaissance Portsmouth would be available for January 20, 2024.
ANSWER
We are good with 27 January or alternate location.
2. For North Carolina (Outer Banks) date on May 25. Outer Banks doesn't have any venue locations that have a square footage min of 12,000 that could allow 1000 or more for an event.
Is it possible to travel to Elizabeth State University, Elizabeth City, NC if that date is available?
ANSWER
Yes Elizabeth City is a good option. We can attempt to work with 10,000 square footage.
