About this file
This is Amendment 0002 to solicitation N40085-26-R-9033, issued by NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic on May 13, 2026, with an effective date of May 13, 2026. The amendment responds to six Requests for Information (RFI) regarding roof repairs to Buildings HP145 and HP175 (BEQ facilities) at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The solicitation requires acknowledgment of this amendment upon proposal submission, with failure to acknowledge potentially resulting in proposal rejection.
The amendment clarifies key project requirements based on contractor inquiries: (1) existing lightning protection will not be reinstalled; (2) contractors should assume 231 linear feet of truss repairs per building for bidding purposes; (3) the roof color specification is corrected to "Suede" (resolving confusion between "Sandstone/Slate Gray"); (4) asbestos testing reports will be provided by the government to assist contractors in bidding; (5) no separate ELIN for estimated truss repair quantities is required on the pricing sheet; and (6) no separate ELIN for plywood repair square footage is required on the pricing sheet. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
