About this file

This is a Presolicitation/Scope of Work document for DoD contract 25-0014 regarding Building FC65 Exhaust System Repairs at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

The project scope encompasses replacement of exhaust systems and associated ductwork serving three dishwashers in Building FC65 (Mess Hall) located on Gonzalez Boulevard West, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547. The primary objective is to prevent condensation from dripping on ceilings. Work includes four distinct tasks: (1) F-12 demolition with ceiling repairs and drop ceiling reinstallation in the female head area; (2) F-7 complete replacement with new stainless-steel ductwork, wall-mounted exhaust fan with backdraft damper, circuit breaker, disconnect switch mounted externally, and BMS integration for monitoring and alarms in dishwasher room 111; (3) F-11 replacement with identical specifications to F-7 in the same location; and (4) F-6 complete replacement with the same new system configuration. All new ductwork must be stainless steel with welded seams and properly sloped. All exhaust fans must operate for an additional five minutes after dishwasher shutdown. New control wiring must connect dishwashers to exhaust fans and to the Building Management System. A temporary wall must be installed in the storage room to separate the work area from operational mess hall facilities. The contractor must follow Combined DIV 01 DBB Specs and BACnet Direct Digital Control Systems for HVAC (CLGS-23-09-23.13, August 2024). All scheduling and access must be coordinated with the Building Manager. After-hours work is required to prevent Mess Hall service interruptions. No environmental considerations are noted.
