About this file
This Government Pre-Award Inquiry Form is for the NAS JAX EVSE Infrastructure project (Solicitation N4008526R0014), a design-build project at Naval Air Station Jacksonville. The document contains seven questions and corresponding government responses addressing specific project details, including:
The project involves removing and modifying a paver system, with approximately 600 sqft of quartz pavers to be retained along the northern and southern plaza edges. The government clarifies that newly installed processed gravel will not require pre-removal testing, but any disturbed soils beneath will need testing. The scope explicitly excludes structural foundation work and site electrical utility work. Contractors will be permitted to block access to the back doors of building 440 during construction, with the stipulation that they minimize impact on NAPS (Naval Air Patrol Station) operations. The concrete transition at the back doors will be determined during the design phase, and existing curbing may remain or be replaced based on design and Low Impact Development (LID) requirements.
