About this file

This project description outlines requirements for replacing a stairwell at buildings 59 and 60. The work includes demolishing an existing steel staircase and removing lead paint from existing channels, which will remain and receive two new coats of galvanized paint. The contractor will also remove an existing concrete landing and section of sidewalk, and provide and install a new landing, concrete sidewalk, and galvanized stairwell with new handrails. The facility will remain operational during construction, so the contractor must conduct work to minimize interference. The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation number N4008524R2572 to replace the stairwell at buildings 59 and 60. Only contractors listed on the MACC general requirements cover page may submit a proposal, which is an ROICC Camp Lejeune area of responsibility project.
