AMENDMENT 0002
3. Question: ITEMS A700-705 Are too Vague, Specific Sizes are needed to quote. Additionally, is disposal to be included in Demolition and removal?
Answer: See Amendment 0002, Revised Section J, Attachment J-0200000-15 ELINS
4. Question: A706 and 707: Asbestos Removal is not a fixed fee, it is dependent on what is found based on openings and conditions. Do you have more information to price this?
5. Question: A708-A710: Do you have more information to price this?
6. Question: A711 and 12: There are massive amounts of variations in these two items to quote based solely on SF. Insulated or not, Windlock or not, 257 and above is a large variation of doors and has huge variations in sizes. More specifics are needed to accurately quote.
7. Question: A713 and 714: See Question 5, operator variants vary in the thousands of dollars in this range.
8. Question: A717: RS Fire Doors are costed by size AND fire Rating. Without sizes it cannot be priced
9. Question: A 718: Pricing for Insulated is not an add on: Insulation and backer steel are not proportional priced since they directly relate to barrel and spring size. They are independently priced from Non- Insulated Doors and cannot be compared. They are very significantly different in pricing. Please Clarify
10. Question: A721-722: Lifts Vary Greatly in pricing based on size and time needed. Please Clarify
11. Question: A724: Operators are not spec’d based on door SF. Please Clarify.

12. Question: A770: Manufacturer Specific?
Answer: The Government's normal practice is not to sole source or specifically identify manufacturers within Non-Recurring ELINs. Contractors shall use inventory (Attachment J- 1502000-03) as a guide to identify manufacturers as well as materials and hardware that meets and/or exceeds OEM requirements.
13. Question: A774-A789: Manufacturer Specific?
Answer: The Government's normal practice is not to sole source or specifically identify manufacturers within Non-Recurring ELINs. Contractors shall use inventory (Attachment J- 1502000-03) as a guide to identify manufacturers as well as materials and hardware that meets and/or exceeds OEM requirements.
14. Question: I am hoping you are able to answer a question, we are in the process of getting our submittals together, we have gotten to the pricing/ELINS, when going to calculate, it was noticed that all of the recurring ELINS reflect at a Quantity (12) and a Unit of issue being MO, being familiar with this contract and how it runs, we are having a hard time accurately calculating using that formula, the current contract, as I am sure you know, assigns a specific number of work orders based on the level of importance (Emergency, Urgent, Routine), we cannot predict how many work orders they will use, and by experience, it varies A LOT depending on the location, also, with the PM’s they were calculated based off the quantity of doors in each particular size range, we wanted to reach out to make sure this was correct, any direction you can give us to be able to accurately estimate this would be greatly appreciated
Answer: See Amendment 0002, Revised Section J, J-0200000-01 Definitions and Acyronyms and J- 0200000-15 ELINS have been updated to provide explanation on EA Annually for Service Orders and EA for PMs. The quantity identified for service orders (XX EA Annually) is the total amount of recurring service orders for each customer that has service orders in that contract year as identified in J-0200000-15. The PMs are calculated based off the quantity of doors in their respective size range and using the standards identified in Section C of Annex 1502000.
15. Question: We kindly request an extension of the contract's due date to adequately address the requirements of the solicitation and ensure good quality is delivered.
Answer: See Amendment 0002, Standard Form (SF)33
