Are the CAD files for the civil drawings available?

If so, please provide the CAD files.

CAD files of the drawings may be made available after contract award upon approval of a signed hold harmless agreement.

4 11/24/20 8 of 1387 1.5 1.5

Who is responsible for utility relocation fees on the project?

The Government is not aware of any utilities requiring relocation on this project.

5 11/24/20 13 of 1387 1.3 1.3.3

Will contractor be allowed to work more than 8.5 hours per day in primary work areas?

According to Section 01 14 00 Work Restrictions, paragraph 1.3.3 Work Outside Regular Hours, "Work outside regular working hours requires Contracting Officer approval." This paragraph provides procedures for submitting application with justification for approval, upon award.

6 11/24/20 14 of 1387 1.4 b

Are all employees on the project required to be US citizens?

According to Section 01 14 00 Work Restrictions, paragraph 1.4.1.a, all "Contractor and subcontractor personnel required to enter the station" must provide "Proof of U.S. citizenship."

7 11/23/20 S- 501 A4 & A5

On plan sheet S-501, Details A4 and A5 calls out “non-woven geotextile over protection drainage board at wall” which indicates the retaining walls do not receive any waterproofing membrane.

Are we correct in this assumption?

Waterproofing is not required at the Retaining Walls.

Bid per the Contract Documents.

2.6 3.7

On plan sheet S-301, Section B4 and on Sheet S-302, Section B5 calls out “Continuous self-adhering waterproofing w / protection board (typ)” for the entire structure.

In Spec. Section 07 13 53, Page 7, Paragraph 2.6 "Protection Board", indicates a composite drainage board to be used as the protection board element. Most manufactures do endorse their drainage boards to function as protection boards for their waterproofing membranes.

However on Page 9, Paragraph 3.7 “Protective Covering” states to cover the waterproofing membrane with one of three types of solid protection board followed by a layer of ¾” Portland cement. Since there will be a site under-drain system, I would think that the composite drainage board would be used in lieu of solid boards with a cement topping. Would please clarify which type of protection is to be used?

Refer to the Amendment for the following revision to the specification:

CHANGE

Specification Section 07 11 53 Paragraph 2.6 Protection Board to read:

Three dimensional, high impact resistant polymeric grid with woven monofilament drainage fabric bonded to the grid.

Specification Section 07 11 53 Paragraph 3.7 Protective Covering remains the same.

9 11/25/20 15 Submissi on section 4.2.3 Hard Copy and DOD safe site- can you please specify if both a hard copy and a DOD upload is required due to covid regulations.

Yes, both a hard copy and a electronic copy of the Technical and Price proposal are required.
