About this file

This document is a Question and Answer (Q&A) Form for a federal procurement solicitation (N4008426Q1002) for an Aerial Platform 36M for NAVFAC FE (Naval Facilities Engineering Command Far East) located in Yokosuka, Japan. The Q&A form contains 7 specific questions from an anonymous offeror and corresponding responses from the government, dated 12/8/2025. Key details include clarifications on identification markings (confirming 7-digit part numbers), request for sample identification marking images, adjustments to offer validity period (changed from 120 to 60 days), and discussions about crane operations and unloading procedures for the aerial platform. The government repeatedly responded "Not acceptable" to multiple vendor propositions, including requests for English-only control panel indicators and alternative compliance with Japanese industrial safety standards.
