All items with asbestos containing materials (ACM) and lead base paint (LBP) that will be affected shall be abated and disposed according to Drawing G-004 (General notes #4).
Verify that there is no ACM or LBP except the existing ACM gypsum wall board at RM. 127 and RM. 132 and perforated wall panel at RM.
125 indicated on A-101E and A- 102E (Note #6). If there is any other ACM or LBP, please specify its location because it is not clear from the bid documents including the asbestos and lead base paint survey report.
It is the Contractor's responsibility to take sampling on all materials that is suspected for ACM and LBP that will be affected by the project. Also, refer to the response on item 2 below.

Para.
1.2.3
The specifications require sampling for ACM and LBP before removal or demolition operation start.
Specify the building/ location/ material where sampling is required, and the required number of sampling because it is not clear from the bid documents including the asbestos and lead base paint survey report.
The quantity of ACM and LBP samplings is to be proposed and determined by the Contractor based on the construction materials that will be disturbed per the drawings. Reference in Section 02 82 16.00 33. The Asbestos and Lead Base Paint Survey Report attached in the specs included prior reports that the installation has.
Please also refer to Attachment 3 Additional Asbestos and LBP Survey Information included with Amendment 0006. Some prior survey reports include building layout of where prior samplings were performed and resulted in positive result for asbestos and lead-based paint. Note that prior sampling areas may not be comprehensive in the area of the work being done for this project. Therefore, these reports are used a reference and provide indications of potential ACM and LBP.
The Contractor still needs to perform due diligence in performing survey and sampling of proposed disturbed materials, identify the number of samplings needed, provide containment, provide disposal, and perform remediation as needed before demolition.
