Page Section Para.

1 26 8.4.1. MW

Collection and Transportation Note:2

2 At the site visit a question was asked regarding the scale on site. The Clinic Representative stated that was for Clinic personnel use to weigh the waste. It is understood that as per the SOW the Contractor will provide a CFM calibrated scale for their own use. What are the procedures should there be a variance between the Clinic scale noted weight and the Contractor scale noted weight?

The Clinic-owned scale is used for their own records.

The Contractor shall fill in the Chit (required in Spec Item 8.3.3) with the weight measured with the Contractor-furnished scale. The weight on the signed chit shall be the record for this contract.

8.4.3 all &"item" in the chart

At the site visit a question was asked regarding no longer utilizing CFM metal drums. It was explained they would no longer be used. For planning purposes, are the 70 Liter Containers as noted in

8.4.3 & the historical data the preferred size, will this be the primary size required (aside from the note IRT Animal Carcasses) and how many are typically required to be provided on site for use between each collection?

SOW has been revised. Please refer to Spec Item 8.4.3, MW Containers, for more detailed requirements of the containers.

The number of empty containers to be provided at each collection should vary depending on the size of the container, but historical average may be calculated using the historical quantity provided in APPENDIX L and the collection frequency, which was the same in the previous contract.
