Note (2) states “Personnel requiring escort must be present at the CFAS Main Base at 08:15 am on 11 July 2019.
The date is corrected. Personnel requiring escort must be present at the CFAS Main Base at 08:15 am on 26 July 2019.
48 CFR § 36.204 Please provide estimated price range of requirement.
Estimated price range is not provided since the project is a “Commercial Item”; it is not a Construction Project being solicited in accordance with FAR 36.
48 CFR § 36.204 is for the “Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction.” FAR 36.204 requires solicitations for Construction Projects include the estimated price in ranges identified in FAR 36.204.
There is no similar requirement for commercial services or authority to disclose magnitude for commercial services which are not subject to FAR 36.
1502000-2.2.1 Certification, Training, and Licensing
Does contractor have to provide “Denki kohjishi” to each work site for EACH work of VTE, SMSE, ADS, AGS, KCDLS and UST/AST, or it is acceptable that contractor has a “Denki kohjishi” in the organization.
Yes, it is acceptable that an Offeror provides one “Denki Kohjishi” in the organization.
1502000-3.1 Service Orders
Because of the cease of manufacturing, some repair parts have already unavailable, and some other parts are also expected to be unavailable soon.
Does contractor makes above mentioned unavailable parts listed on initial inspection report as deficiencies?
Not necessary in the initial inspection report as deficiencies; however, as described in Spec Item
2.3.3 of Annex 15, “the Contractor shall provide any recommended solutions and/or future concerns” as written report within the time frame specified in Section F (F-1502000-A).
1502000-3.3 Inspection, Testing, and Certification Program
Can contractor consider that the limit for performing of correction work will be applied to the work described as “Deficiencies, malfunctions, and worn parts discovered as a result of any of these inspections and tests shall be corrected by the contractor” in Note 2 of 1502000-3.3.1 Vertical Transportation Equipment?
Yes, it applies.
J-1502000-03.1 Inventory of VTE
Offeror cannot find Elevator H-3, H-4 and Automobile lift AL-S9 in the current inventory list.
H-3 and H-4, and AL-S9 are changed to “To Be Determined (TBD) in the Inventory List, and AL-S9 is removed from the Inventory List.
J-1502000-03.2 Inventory SMSE
Offeror cannot find SMSE SC-3 in the current inventory list.
SMSE SC-3 is removed from the Inventory List.
J-1502000-03.6 Inventory ATS
Offeror cannot find AST #5024 in the current inventory list.
AST #5024 is removed from the Inventory list.
