REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)
Technical Questions
1) Will there be scheduled site visits for this opportunity? - No
2) Are termite services a separate contract under this contract or is it included? – See J-
1503020-09 Pest Control Group 020 (see Termite Control Specifications)
3) Did the government conduct a site visit for each location for this contract? - No
4) Are there deliverables missing from Section F of the attached RFP?
a. Under 0200000 - Management and Administration, Spec Item # 2.9.3 through
2.14.2, it states: The contractor shall submit _________ report per Section F.
However, these deliverables are not shown in Section F. Section F is complete.
Deliverables for 2.9.3 thru 2.14.2 are listed
5) Is the EMR and DART required for the Prime Contractor?
a. According to paragraph 2.9.1.1 and 2.9.1.2, it states: The EMR and DART is required for subcontractors. – See page 129, Factor 4 - SAFETY
6) Pages 14-15 - Attachment J-0200000-05 (Forms) - Spec Item 2.9.7
a. Is this the correct attachment. The ELINs/Sub-ELINs and Spec Item descriptions do not match the Spec Items in the RFP. – Form provided is for formatting purposes. Column specific information should be updated to reflect specific effort.
7) Page 20 - Attachment J-0200000-05-04 (Contractor Crane Operating Checklist for
Critical Lifts)
a. How does this attachment apply to the pest control requirements identified in the
RFP? - Provided for informational purposes in the event it is required

10) Under Spec Item 3.2.
Would you define what type of pests are considered Pest Control Service
Order Level One? – No, different Service Order Levels are defined by the
Limit of Liability, no Pest types
11) Under Spec Item 3.2.1
Would you define what type of pests are considered Pest Control Service
Order Level Two? - No, different Service Order Levels are defined by the
Limit of Liability, not Pest types
12) On page 8 of 29 section J, COL3 says “Lawn Turf and Ornamental Plant Pests – No surveillance in any ground’s areas and treatment in prestige areas is conducted in response to customer complaints only.” No treatment in improved grounds areas” but pages 24 and 25 list pest groups for turf pests (groups 021,022,025). Which is correct? –
Both are correct – “treatment in prestige areas is conducted in response to customer complaints only”. Pages 24 and 25 define the performance standards that the treatment should be performed to.
13) Page 8 of 29, COL4 states no survey or treatments in prestige or improved grounds. See question above.
What defines a “prestige area?” Prestige areas are identified in the inventory and map sections provided.

Alexandria Pest Services has been our vendor and had this contract for 1.5 years.
2) What will be the anticipated award date for this contract?
The anticipated award date is September 1, 2023
3) What will be the anticipated start date for this contract?
The anticipated start date is September 15, 2023
4) What is the current monthly or total annual awarded amount for this contract?
The annual awarded amount for this contract is about $1.2 million.
5) Have funds been appropriated for this opportunity?
The funds will be appropriated annually.
6) Is this an existing contract?
Yes, it is currently being performed under contract# N4008022D4000
7) Was this contract recently awarded? If so, why is it being put out for bid after recently being awarded?
Yes, the contract was awarded last year. However, due to major discrepancies found, a rewrite and re-solicitation was required, due to competition requirements.
