A) Questions and Answers to RFIs submitted by Bidders, answers are in red.

B) Drawings E-109 pertaining to Question 48.

1. 1Is there a current controls contractor for this facility? If so, please provide Company Name. Thanks

Answer: The controller is OMNI by Innotech. The local rep. is KLM Controls 301-752-7113.

2. Do the quantities listed at the bottom of the drawings reflect the totals to be installed?

Answer: No. The table lists quantities required in each room or area (not the total). The take-off should be started from Plan, room to room, for Lighting item (L10, L15, etc.) and Control Device (S1, S2, etc.). For example, drawing E-106, room 213 requires L16, S1(wall sensor). L16 needs 4 fix’s KB retrofitted. Fix. Type KB description, and control device S1can be found on E-101. Room 211 has the same requirement, but the adjacent large open space above these two rooms requires L34, S11(2 ceiling sensors). L34 needs 31 fix’s KA retrofitted.

3. On page 4 of 31 of the solicitation it states that bids shall be submitted in 1.5” three ring binders or bound. Would you consider using binders that .5” or 1” in lieu of 1.5”?
