TITLE: 01-04 Level Exterior Bulkhead Preservation
QUESTION:
Please clarify the scope of work for this item and identify the surfaces that need to be recoated. Para 1.1 specifics Levels 01-04, but Para 3.1 specifies Levels 01-03.
ANSWER:
Section 3.1 is incorrect and work shall include bulkhead preservation from 01-04 LVLs. Work Item 0103 has been revised accordingly.

TITLE: _ Tow Wire Socket Renew_______________
1. Naval Base San Diego, POP: 29 Feb–08 March 2020, is this correct?
1. After discussing the requirements of paragraph 7.2.1 & 7.2.2 with multiple wire distributors we have been informed that this cannot be performed the field.
0. The location and POP given in work item is incorrect and has been removed in attached revision of Work Item 0507.
0. Work in sections 7.2.1 & 7.2.2 can be accomplished onboard and has been accomplished in March 2020 at San Diego on the Port Tow Wire. MSC is open to alternative way to accomplish work if proposed.

Will Ship’s Force be living onboard the vessel during the availability?
Ship’s force will not be living onboard for the majority of the availability.

TITLE: Shore Power Riser Preservation
Will the reefers and ship’s services be in use during the availability and will this affect working periods for the Shore Power Riser Preservation?
Ship’s Service Power is expected to be operational for the majority of the availability to support auxiliary electrical and electronic systems required for ship’s force to accomplish work and monitoring. Ship’s reefers will not be operation while the ship is moved ashore and to support work on Work Item 0580. MSC advises contractors to schedule work being accomplished in Work Item 0102 to minimize impact of contractor and ship’s force work during the availability. MSC will not direct contractor to schedule work on alternative shifts but highly recommends a well-coordinated schedule for all parties to limit impacts. Additionally, MSC OMT will work with contactor with mitigating impacts to accomplish work.

S/N on the whole skid: HP148.345.0911455 S/N on the stainless tank assembly: 1680911934
HP air feeds emergency shaft seals, start air and other auxiliary air system.
