About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding solicitation number N3220520R4088 for the USNS PUERTO RICO (T-EPF 11) Post Shakedown Availability/Drydock opportunity with the Department of the Navy Military Sealift Command. Key details include clarification that work item 114 is for replacement of a grease interceptor rather than installation of BERPs as originally specified. For work item 108, offerors should assume up to 400 square feet of minor pitting to fill and up to 10,000 linear feet of structure requiring grinding. For work item 120, the OEM will provide materials and tooling per paragraph 3.0 but the contractor may coordinate with the OEM for commonly available items. Non-OEM representatives require proof of authorization for work on Kelvion equipment under work item 201. Replacement hoses under work item 512 are to be CFM rather than GFM. A reference error is corrected for work item 903. And an amendment will be issued regarding changes to work item 090 for daily COVID prevention.
