QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (7)
The following are answers to questions received from potential offerors. The answers provide clarification only and DO NOT constitute an amendment to the solicitation.
1. As a follow-on to the questions, it states that Amendment 0003 would address Section 3.2 for the Facility Support "contingency measure." The clarification makes more sense, but the Amendment did not change CLINS 0005, 0010, 0015, 0020, and 0025 - which are described further as a will "not exceed" $150k per year, as well as characterizing the CLINs as a reimbursable, vice FFP - "The contractor will be reimbursed for the training facilities when used." Does the government expect to provide an Amendment to the CLINs and direct the use of the NTE value for proposal submissions?
ANSWER:
The contractor will be given a 14 day notice when facilities are required (Amendment 0004 pgs.
2-3).
The contractor will be reimbursed for the training facilities when used (Amendment 0004 pgs. 2- 3) The cost of the leased facilities will be deducted from the Classroom CLIN (Amendment 0004 pgs. 2-3) The CLIN limit for the year is $150K. (Amendment 0004 pgs. 2-3) The value of the CLIN ($150K) should be used when submitting the proposal.
