About this file
This document provides details of a pre-solicitation conference for a forthcoming request for proposal from the Naval Air Systems Command for fleet fighter jet services. The conference will include an overview of draft requirements and evaluation factors, and allow industry feedback. One-on-one sessions will also be held to obtain vendor-specific feedback on performance requirements, government furnished equipment needs, and proposed contract line items. Interested offerors must submit attendee information by July 18th and are limited to three attendees each. The final RFP is expected in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2019, with an estimated award date in the third quarter of fiscal year 2020. The requirement is for Type III, IV, and optionally Type J aircraft to provide fleet training and testing support.
