About this file
This document contains an attachment and solicitation related to engineering and technical support services. The attachment provides the government's estimate of Government Furnished Property that may be provided to the contractor, such as desktop and laptop computers, computer monitors, printers, and external hard drives and DVD drives. The number and types of items estimated depend on task order requirements. The solicitation seeks these support services for the Navy's 5.4.3 Integrated Battlespace Simulation and Test division, which provides simulation products for requirements analysis, test and evaluation, and training across DoD and foreign military customers. Key simulation products maintained and developed include the Next Generation Threat System and distributed simulation architectures. Questions regarding the draft solicitation are due by email by an unspecified date, with release of the final solicitation expected in the first quarter of fiscal year 2019.

Attachment J5:
Government Furnished Property Estimate Below is the Government’s estimate of the Government Furnished Property (GFP) that will (or can) be provided to the Contractor in support of this contract. GFP provided will be dependent on Task Orders issued under this contract.
Per SOW paragraph 3.1.2.3, the Government shall provide Unclassified RDT&E computers and computer network connectivity for off-site contractors providing direct full time technical support that requires RDT&E network access. RDT&E network access is typically required when access is required to 1) a government owned RDT&E software design environment, and 2) government owned configuration management tools and repositories. In these cases, access requires use of a government owned computer to maintain network accreditation. Unclassified government RDT&E computers will only be provided to individuals with a GENSER Secret clearance or higher.
For specific Task Order requirements, the government will also provide the contractor with GFP that will ultimately be delivered to a Simulation Division customer (Example: computer systems provided for software installation and testing prior to delivery to a customer). This material will be annotated at the Task Order level.
