About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by the Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound on September 8, 2026. The amendment number is 0001 and is effective September 8, 2026. The amendment modifies solicitation N0040626Q00362, which was originally dated September 3, 2026. The issuing office is located at 467 W Street, Bremerton, WA 98314-5100, with contact Chloe Vernet (Telephone: 564-226-0362, Email: chloe.b.vernet.civ@us.navy.mil).

The amendment addresses questions submitted during the procurement process for a new Ground Support Equipment Mechanics requirement. Key clarifications include: (1) this is a new requirement with no incumbent contract; (2) one Auto Mechanic currently serves as Regional Technician and Regional Forklift Trainer; (3) no historical labor hours or workload data are available; (4) crew size for shipboard evaluations and certifications varies by situation; (5) contractor personnel will be classified as Ground Support Equipment Mechanics under SCLS occupation code 23380, though labor category proposals are the contractor's responsibility; (6) government employees will provide transportation using the shop truck; (7) the Mechanics Tool Box Inventory represents standard government-furnished tools, with specialty tools available through the tool room sign-out process and personal tools permitted; (8) the solicitation is not being extended; and (9) no pre-quote site visit is available. Contractors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the deadline specified in the original solicitation or provide acknowledgment on each offer copy.

Q: Please provide the historical annual labor hours expended under the incumbent contract, if available.

Q: Does the Government have historical workload data showing the number and average labor hours for preventive-maintenance actions, unscheduled repairs, weight certifications, shipboard visits, and new-equipment inspections?

Q: Will the Government provide transportation between the primary Bremerton worksite and the other identified military facilities, or must the contractor provide transportation?
