Any information (classified or unclassified) pertaining to this contract shall not be released for public dissemination except as provided by the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) or unless it has been approved for public release by appropriate U.S. Government authority. The security classification guidance for classified information needed for this effort is identified below. If any difficulty is encountered in applying this guidance or if any other contributing factor indicates a need for changes in this guidance, the contractor is authorized and encouraged to provide recommended changes; to challenge the guidance or the classification assigned to any information or material furnished or generated under this contract; and to submit any questions for interpretation of this guidance to the official identified below. Pending final decision, the information involved shall be handled and protected at the highest level of classification assigned or recommended.

text: 1. Contract performance is restricted to NCTAMS PAC DET Puget Sound (NCTAMS PAC DET PS). Requiring activity will provide for security guidance for performance of this contract.

2. All classified information generated in performance of this contract shall be classified according to the marking shown on the source material.

3. All classified information received or generated in the operation or maintenance of any and all Automated Information Systems (AIS) shall be processed IAW DOD, DON, NCTAMS PAC DET PS directives and local Standard Operating Procedures.

4. All classified hardware stored in performance of this contract will be stored within a restricted area, which will be provided by the Government.

5. Contract includes MAC III sensitive information system. Only cleared personnel shall perform this service because escorting personnel could not preclude inadvertent access by maintenance personnel to restricted areas. Guidance will be provided by NCTAMS PAC DET PS and local Standard Operating Procedures.

6. Contractor shall implement effective OPSEC procedures.

7. Contractor Site Manager shall have a Final Secret Clearance prior to start of work. All other Contract Personnel shall have a minimum Interim Secret Clearance based on a favorable local records check and submission of investigative documentation. The U. S. Government shall have granted all clearances. Personnel clearances, accesses issued and required security indoctrinations will be reflected in JPAS prior to commencement of work.

IAM, NCTAMS PAC DET PS will serve as the Local Information Assurance Authority. Security Manager, NCTAMS PAC DET PS will maintain AIS, physical security/force protection and personnel/information security compliance oversight. NCTAMS PAC DET PS will also serve as the inspecting agency.
