About this file

This document appears to be a questions and answers document related to a federal contract opportunity for Cryogenic Support Services. The key details are:

The solicitation is for a commercial Firm-Fixed-Price contract to provide contractor support services for the receipt, storage, handling, and issue of cryogenic products (liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen) to tenant and transient aviation activities. The procurement will use a best value tradeoff source selection process and has a one-year base period followed by four one-year option periods. The applicable NAICS code is 561210 "Facilities Support Services." The government received questions on topics such as the pricing template, wage determinations, and page limits, and provided responses addressing these items. The solicitation is set aside for small businesses, but the government did not receive capability statements from two or more certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), so it will be competed as a small business set-aside.

Requesting this soliciation be changed to a SDVOSB set-aside.

Volume III Price para. 3

How are the 1920 hours calculated? 1,920 hours is the equivalent of one full-time equivalent (FTE) in a year if an employee works 40 hours per week for 48 weeks. This calculation accounts for four weeks of vacation, sick, and holiday time off.

Page 21 – Lemoore. Van Maintenance.

Is this a new requirement? Currently the vans are operated and the responsibility of the civil service group.

This should read maintenance “rack” vice “van”. PWS will be updated with amendment 0001.

Page 85 - Technical volume page limit

In order to adequately convey our understanding of the PWS requirements and to provide in detail our approach, we request the page limitation in Technical volume II to be increased from 10 pages to a minimum of 20 pages.

The Government concurs with the increase to a minimum of 20 pages.
