About this file
This is a Site Visit Notice for a federal contracting opportunity related to the 380 FT Towing Tank Carriage Control System (Solicitation Number N0018926QL104) issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command. Vendors interested in submitting quotes are urged to attend an optional but highly encouraged site inspection to familiarize themselves with the location and conditions affecting contract performance. Failure to attend does not disqualify vendors from award consideration, nor does attendance constitute grounds for claims after award.
Vendors must register for the site visit by submitting verification information to Contracting Officer Gilbert Dobison at gilbert.k.dobison.civ@us.navy.mil on or before May 19, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Required registration details include full name, company name, email address, and telephone number. The site visit is scheduled for May 21, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., with vendors meeting at Bishop Stadium parking lot (280 Wainwright Drive, Annapolis Boulevard, Annapolis, MD 21402) for transport to the inspection site at Building CD-9, 9040 Hampton Boulevard. Each organization is limited to two representatives. Vendors arriving late should contact Michael Stanbro at 410-293-5103, though no additional site visits will be arranged for parties arriving after the government inspection team departs. No special accommodations will be granted for visits scheduled outside the official date. Questions raised during the site visit will be documented and may be used to update the Statement of Work or solicitation, with formal written responses deferred until the Request for Quotes issuance and subsequent question-and-answer period.
