About this file
This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for NCTAMS LANT SSN (Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic Shore Support Node) telephony services. The PWS outlines current telephony infrastructure and seeks detailed information about existing communication systems across multiple naval locations, including NAS Key West, JEB Little Creek, NAVSTA Norfolk, NAVSTA Great Lakes, NSA Philadelphia, NSA Mechanicsburg, and PNSY.
The document indicates that TDM Centrex is the current commercial telephony service, with various voice mail systems in use from providers like AT&T and Verizon. Key requirements include identifying current Information System Platforms, end-user instruments, network facilities, digital and IP phones, video teleconferencing systems, and voice mail configurations. Many specifics are currently unknown and will be further clarified during the Request for Proposal (RFP) Phase. The PWS seeks vendor clarification on network facilities, specific user feature sets, and detailed equipment inventories across different locations, with the ultimate goal of establishing a comprehensive telecommunications infrastructure for naval facilities.
