1. The following questions were submitted by potential Offerors. The Government’s response follows each question. Questions and Answers 001 through 010 are provided in this Amendment 0002.

Question 001: Section C.1.1.9.1 and Section L.3.5.1.6.1.2.1 list different requirements for key personnel.

Answer 001: The key personnel requirements listed in Section L.3.5.1.6.1.2.1 are correct and Section C.1.1.9.1 has been updated in paragraph 2 below to reflect the correct requirements.

Question 002: C1.1.10.2 appears to be missing paragraph (d). Please clarify.

Answer 002: C.1.1.10.2 contained a typographical error and paragraph (e) is hereby corrected in paragraph 2 below to read paragraph (d).

Question 003: Could the Government please confirm that key event 1.12 is a duplication of key event 1.3?

Answer 003: Yes, key events 1.3 and 1.12 are duplicates. Table C-2 has been updated in paragraph 2 below to reserve key event 1.12.

Question 004: It is recommend that the Government utilize a standardized progress criteria for both ACU 4 and ACU 5 SLEP availabilities.

Answer 004: Currently both coasts are progressing craft accurately utilizing different criteria and the Government sees no benefit to changing the criteria stated in the subject solicitation. No change in the solicitation is made as a result of this answer.

Question 005: Could the Government please confirm when the infrared survey is to be completed?

Answer 005: IR Survery will be conducted prior to INSURV preparations. Section C.1.2.12.1 has been updated in paragraph 2 below to reflect this change.

Question 006: C.16 appears to be missing Item 0010. Please clarify.

Answer 006: C.16 has been corrected in paragraph 2 below to include Item 0010.

Question 007: Recommend the Government change the induction date for LCAC 76 from Feb 7, 2017 to Feb 21, 2017 and craft delivery from May 4, 2018 to May 18, 2018.

Answer 007: The Government concurs with the recommendation. ACU-5 two week downtime starting at Christmas would potentially interfere with Fuel On Load. Table F-1 has been updated in paragraph 2 below to reflect the correct induction and delivery dates for LCAC 76.

Question 008: Table F-2 has a craft delivery date of 31 August 2018 for LCAC 85. Based on the noted induction date of 7 June 2016, should the craft delivery date be 1 September 2017?

Answer 008: Yes, Table F-2 has been updated in paragraph 2 below to reflect the correct delivery date for LCAC 85.

Question 009: Will one or two contracts be awarded? If two, will both contracts be awarded to the same Offeror?

Answer 009: There will be two contracts awarded to one Offeror. Section M.1.3 has been clarified in paragraph 2 below to reflect this.

Question 010: There appears to be inconsistency in the Item numbering throughout Section M for ACU 4 CLINs. Please clarify.

Answer 010: Sections M.1.18, M.6.1.5.3, and M.6.1.5.4, and Table M-4 have been updated in paragraph 2 below to correct the Item numbering for ACU 4 CLINs.
