About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for the Munitions Materiel Handling Equipment (MMHE) solicitation issued by the Department of the Air Force Headquarters Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Eglin Air Force Base. The Q&A addresses three specific questions from potential bidders: first, confirmation that a cover page can be added to each volume and will count toward total page limits; second, clarification that table of contents should be comprehensive across all volumes rather than separated; and third, technical details about chock set system compatibility, specifically that JSM chocks are designed for use with a MHU-141 trailer with vibration isolation capabilities to support JSM munition transport cradles.

Munitions Materiel Handling Equipment (MMHE) Questions and Answers

- Can we add cover page to each volume? Does it count as part of total pages?

You can add a cover page to each volume if you choose; however, that page will be counted as part of the total pages.

- For volume II and III, can we add table of contents? I only see that for volume I.

Table contents should be inclusive of all volumes. Please do not provide a separate table of contents for each volume.

- What system does this chock set attach to?

The JSM chocks are designed to go on a MHU-141 trailer with vibration isolation, that can support the JSM munition while in its transport cradle.
