About this file

This document is a Statement of Objectives (SOO) for the acquisition and installation of one four-post vehicle alignment lift with a 15,000-pound capacity. The lift must be ALI-certified and meet ANSI safety standards, featuring an open-front design to accommodate compact cars, SUVs, wide-track vehicles, and dual-wheel heavy-duty trucks. Key dimensional specifications include 142 inches overall width, 99 inches overall height, 26-inch pro-style runways with a maximum lowered height of 8 inches, and minimum rear column clearances of 120 inches drive-on and 125 inches body clearance. The lift must deliver a minimum lifting height of 78 inches within 85 seconds and operate on 208–230V, 60 Hz, single-phase, 30A electrical service with a 3 HP (2.2 kW) motor, requiring 90–120 PSI air supply for auxiliary functions.

The lift shall accommodate a standard maximum wheelbase of 183 inches and require a minimum installation bay size of 14 feet by 24 feet. Critical features include enhanced rear slip plates of at least 100 inches in length with full-floating polymer ball-transfer units, low-profile rolling jack beams with extended-reach arms and retractable design, and an open-front cross beam supporting optional alignment lighting systems. All equipment must be new, free of defects, installed per manufacturer specifications, and fully operational upon Government acceptance. Optional features such as Locked & Lighted systems or drive-through ramp configurations may be included if deemed necessary by the Government.

FOUR (4) - POST VEHICLE ALIGNMENT LIFT – 15,000 LB. CAPACITY

SCOPE

The Government requires the acquisition and installation of one (1) 15,000-lb capacity, ALI/ANSI-certiied four-post alignment lift to support professional automotive service operations.

The lift must accommodate a broad range of vehicles including compact cars, SUVs, wide-track vehicles, and dual-wheel heavy-duty trucks and provide unobstructed service access through an open-front design compatible with optional alignment lighting systems.

The required lift shall include pro-style runways at least 26 inches wide, with an “easy-on” ramp and a lowered height not exceeding 8 inches to support low-proile vehicles. It must incorporate enhanced rear slip plates of no less than 100 inches in length, engineered for accurate four-wheel alignment on both long and short wheelbase vehicles, using full-loating polymer ball-transfer units for low-maintenance operation. To support lifting versatility, the system shall include low-proile rolling jack beams with extended-reach arms, a higher lifting stroke, and a low drive-over height, capable of fully retracting within the runways when not in use. The lift structure shall provide minimum rear column clearances of 120 inches drive-on and 125 inches body clearance to ensure adequate access for heavy-duty trucks.

The lift must deliver a minimum lifting height of 78 inches, a lifting time not exceeding 85 seconds, and operate on 208–230V, 60 Hz, single-phase, 30A electrical service with a 3 HP (2.2 kW) motor.

An air supply of 90–120 PSI shall be required for auxiliary functions.

The contractor shall provide a standard-length coniguration capable of supporting maximum wheelbases of 183 inches (standard). The installation site must meet minimum bay size requirements of 14 ft × 24 ft (standard). Optional features such as Locked & Lighted systems or drive-through ramp conigurations may be included if determined necessary by the Government.

All equipment delivered shall be new, free of defects, installed in accordance with manufacturer speciications, and fully operational upon Government acceptance.
